I invite you to join me as I celebrate this Fun-filled Friday.
Let's make this a day full of randon acts of kindness:
Pay for someone's cup of coffee or tea.
Buy groceries for a stranger.
Get the next person's gas at the station.
Slide a $10 bill into a diaper box.
Donate something.
Help someone out.
When you do something nice for someone, there is a good chance they'll do something nice for someone else. If not, at least you've done your part to pay it forward.
Random acts of kindness for a stranger, with a financial exchange, while expecting nothing in return, will not only lift the spirits of the person you help, it will also bring great joy to you as well. It can be as little as a few dollars or as much as you feel compelled to give. No one needs to know.
There are so many opportunities to refresh and encourage others all around us:
The person in an unfamiliar situation.
Someone starting a new job.
A college student away at school.
Someone just tired and weary of it all.
A friend going through cancer treatments.
Someone with job setbacks.
A friend experiencing loneliness.
If someone's name or face comes to mind, reach out to them with love and kindness today.
If you want JOY for half an hour, take a bubble bath.
If you want JOY for an afternoon, go shopping.
If you want JOY for an evening, go out to dinner.
If you want JOY for a week, go on a vacation.
If you want JOY for a month, spend within your budget.
If you want JOY for life, invest time in others!
-Barbara Johnson
Thought for the day - Be the reason someone smiles. Be the reason someone feels loved. Be the person that helps others believe in goodness again.
Have A Great Day!
