Think Bigger Today Than You Did 10 Years Ago

We all have dreams inside that speak to the very essence of who we are meant to be.

It's that thing we were born to do, our purpose for being here.

Why do so many of us abandon our heartfelt dreams? Could it be that the urgency to earn a paycheck has taken over? After all, there's the house payment, car insurance, student loans and a certain lifestyle that has to be maintained.

It seems as though people (myself included) chose a path early in life. This path created a lifestyle that caused our dreams to fade into the background. Instead of allowing circumstances to dictate our lives and limit our potential, why not reach deep inside and bring those dreams back to the forefront of your mind?

I love this quote from Renee Hixson - "Life is too great of an adventure to live it indecisively. I'd rather step out in faith, take a risk, and make a decision."

Ed Mylett says it this way: "The ceiling on your life is your biggest thought. Don't limit yourself with small thoughts."

These quotes remind us of the importance of dreaming big and taking risks.

It can be very motivating to dream big, and it's very possible that your dreams can become reality. All it takes is a little planning on your part. Think bigger today than you did 10 years ago. I encourage you to reignite the dreams that once filled your every thought.

I know it can seem scary to step outside your comfort zone. I have found that real living begins where your comfort zone ends. I've seen people who were content with mediocrity look back at their life and say, "If only I had," or "I wonder what might have been." Don't let this happen to you.

Why not start seeing the world for what it could be? Begin living beyond, "doing fine under the circumstances."

I want to challenge you to kickstart this week with a different mindset. If you choose to do so, your life can be so much more exciting and rewarding:

  • Choose to get out from under your circumstances and make a conscious choice to follow your passion and your dreams again.

  • Live life with a positive purpose.

  • Be open to new ideas, new situations, and new challenges.

Thought for the day - "As long as a man stands in his own way everything seems to be in his way." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Have A Great Day!
